In other news I gotta wonder why I ever wanted to write a violent psycho character because this archetype is a minefield of embarrassing tropes and clichés
If Chie and others were from real-world countries, what would be their nationalities?
Actually I was planning to draw a picture of everyone dressed as national stereotypes but I dunno how tasteless that might’ve been after all haha
I looked through my inbox and found some asks piling up eheh… sorry it took so long. But these are good questions, thanks for sending them!
H-P challenged me to draw Jon in a ballet getup and I was like ok
(his toes would probably disintegrate under his weight so he’d lift ballerinas instead)
If Chie and others were animals, what would they be?

This was pretty fun. Thanks for the ask!
Ah damn I need more time to work on the cover art after all! But hey, here’s the update anyway. I hope you’ll enjoy this chapter as much as I do!

Teaser time! Stakes are through the roof! How will our heroes survive this terrible ordeal???
Updates will resume on Thursday 16th!
Webcomic will have a two month break while I attempt to finish Chapter 4 (my actual deadline for realsies or I might get in trouble)
I hope people aren’t too mad about the awful cliffhanger haha
Lately I’ve been covering all my stuff with random cute stickers like a sixth grader because artist’s alleys have a wide selection of them and I can’t resist. Gahhh now I kinda want to make my own stickers too
I was thinking action poses or somesuch so the characters would seem to “live” on the surface you put them. Maybe they’re fighting other stickers, idk… These silhouettes would be difficult to cut into shape though. I guess chibi art was invented for the purpose but I think it looks kinda wrong with my characters
Character heads could be nice and simple but I’d probably like them better stuffed inside a rectangle or some other shape.
Another idea were panels from the comic (with blank bubbles you can fill in yourself??), or tiny pieces of artwork
I don’t know, what do you think?
Wow so many votes for young Jon’s hair! Thanks guys!
There were several people suggesting a bald/buzzcut style aaaand it certainly looks really thuggish, I like it :D Dirty hippie hair is more versatile though; I could use it to hide his face or whip it around or tie it in a ponytail…
A few people suggested me to change his clothes but I can’t get rid of the uniform coat. Some kind of shirt under it could make a difference though
I’ll keep looking at my options; you’ll see my final decision in a short flashback sequence in chapter 4 :)
