It’s Maaria’s birthday today yay happy birthday. It’s Maaria’s character Elias, but as a hipster emo dude because I seriously think her webcomic needs more emos.
Awww I’m so happy you drew this <3<3 Especially since it’s Elias and there’s not enough drawings of him! Not minding the hipster emo thing at all, I think it suits him alright! Makes him appear a bit younger I guess? Bonus points for the jussi shirt though haha

Probably around six hours in total but keep in mind it’s the first thing I’ve ever modeled? I’m still slow and clumsy with the tools
Rendering was pretty fast though, around 5 mins for each pic in HD res

I wanted some challenge and picked five of my favourite finnish comics and turned the main characters into owls. Some were easier than others and i feel sorry for poor Colin, but just had to do it. This is nothing new; I’ve heard several stories about Paypal freezing people’s accounts for bizarre reasons. One of my friends lost hundreds of bucks because apparently people sent him too much money too frequently which PP then interpreted as “money laundering” or some bullshit. Knowing this I make a point of never keeping more than $50-100 on my account so I recommend you guys do the same
If there’s a less shady internet money service out there by all means tell me about it
