I always admired Fumito Ueda’s games for their IMPECCABLE ANIMATION and The Last Guardian doesn’t disappoint!

You can tell they really did their homework studying cats and dogs for this creature. Every movement looks natural, the way the beast carefully places its’ feet on a platform individually and is able to walk and turn around without any kind of twitching or sliding going on. And the way it’s ears perk up when the boy jumps towards it??? Such a tiny detail but you instantly recognize a dog in there. Amazing amazing amazing

I don’t even care if the game ends up being a piece of crap, I’ll be happy just ogling the animation the whole time

Here’s the thing though, a pet-peeve I’ve had for years: the whole time I’ve been remotely good at drawing I’ve had the occasional person come up to me and ask if I could draw some porn. I’ve declined basically every time, I’m not really feeling it you know? No biggie right?

But a little too often I’ve met with the implication that people who aren’t into porn are actually just shy/sensitive/naïve/prudish/stuck-up/broken or simply in denial about liking porn. That’s… really kind of a rotten attitude to have, ok? Don’t make judgements on people by their interest or lack of it, we’ll all be much happier that way

(Funnily enough I actually do draw NSFW material once in a blue moon, I just don’t share that stuff online)

Back to school

Aaaand I’m not comfortable here. 90% of the people at my course are once again really “business” and aim to work at publishers or marketing or webdesign or some other serious designer shit

Feeling kinda alienated because what’s my ambition? My ambition is to not end up working 9 to 5 at some kind of office cubicle

I want to stay at home and DRAW STUFF

And frankly my illustrations have gotten me more freelance jobs than most of these people but… I still can’t help but fear that I won’t be taken seriously here :( weh
