One of the most valuable things I learned from Scott McCloud is that wanting to draw beautiful characters is not an excuse to make them all look the same. There are countless types of beauty out there, sticking to a single ideal will only get boring

I suspect I’d have to exaggerate my designs a lot more until the average reader could tell the difference though :’) I’ll get there someday

Chie from Phantomland dressed as Faith from Mirror’s Edge. Don’t know why, but the two just reminded me of each other. Maybe it’s the whole running thing.

Urrrgh, someone remind me to redo this when I don’t suck horribly at CG, especially backgrounds.
