Having one of those days where I hate everything I draw and try to vent by doodling some pointless self-indulgent stuff that I kinda sorta end up liking anyway… tsundere for my own art
Entrance exams, day one (Metropolia 3D animation)
1) A couple at a flea market is fooled into buying an impressive-looking item that 2) turns out to be something else (from three given perspectives). Three characters; optimistic buyer, their cynical partner and the cunning salesperson
Animal characters were required…. uuugh it’s hard when you have so little experience with furries and then it’s all just trying NOT to draw poor imitations of cartoons you know :’D
Adventures of dragon guy & sphinx gal. I rushed these on the last night before deadline so they look super plain haha. I got invited to the entrance exams though so it’s okay (Metropolia 3D animation)
The assignments were to 1) design two characters that are complete opposites, 2) display them from a 3D perspective and 3) draw a comic of them solving a problem together
I grew kinda fond of the characters, they’re both anthros in a different sense so it’s interesting to me
Had a dream about some sort of armageddon with gross robots :‘I They would fly in huge swarms like flies
The skeleton giant is reaching 4000 notes! Wowww!
A few people have wondered about the story behind the pic… there isn’t really one (yet) but I find myself thinking about it every now and then, and trying to doodle a proper design for the dude
In short: he’s a witch, and in his culture a witch apprentice is expected to catch and raise a wild animal into their pet/familiar. This dude ended up with a particularly big one, maybe out of some urge to show off. Then the beast died, but it’s okay because magic
I made him into a really feminine type because I rarely design these sort of characters
A few works I like but not a terribly ambitious year overall. Also I didn’t seem to draw almost anyhing last summer?? What was I even doing? It’s all just a blur now

I could draw a one-shot comic about her sometime. Would be a good excercise in landscapes if anything… The story would be set in a post-apocalyptic Earth where people have gone extinct, and the lone android is traveling the world on a mission of sorts
Work in progress! Modeling for the first time ever so I have no idea what I’m doing. This thing so far has taken me like seven hours but I’m slowly getting the hang of it
