Heeey, is you comic page dead?

Phantomland homepage? Ah yes it’s dead all right :-D I was going to update the site and move it to a new domain & address buuuut I’ve got my hands full with all kinds of stuff atm, collapsing under stress at this rate ugh

I’ll try to take care of it as soon as possible though! Thanks for reminding me ;; Meanwhile you can still read the comic at Smackjeeves and browse my tag no problem

EDIT: wrong link, fixed it. Oopsy daisy

At this point I want to remind you that you are not obligated to change your characters body types in any way just because someone else thinks they're too skinny. If you are happy with your characters now you shouldn't force them to change. I personally think your characters have a variety of body types already as well as personalities to go with them. You shouldn't feel bad about your characters not being ''something enough''. Just go with your flow.

Haha trust me I’m a loyal member of the “never listen to your readers” camp but that doesn’t mean I can’t agree with them occasionally. I really like all kinds of character diversity, so while it’s unlikely I’ll change old designs, I’m still able to put some thought into new characters I haven’t introduced yet!

That said, it's not impossible to see characters changing body type over time, right?

Well that’s an interesting thought

I mean why not? Some of the characters could gain (or lose) weight during the timespan of this story, provided that it makes sense in context. But how does one get fat, though? People seem to get in such heated arguments over the statistics of it that I’m really not interested in taking any stances, so that’s kind of tricky

The most plausible thing I could think of so far is that one of the characters could be chubby in their flashbacks, and I do kinda like the idea. That stuff’s a long time ahead though, but we’ll see if I can make it work

Why are all your characters so skinny?

All of them? Are you sure?

A thought just struck me. Has it ever happened that when somebody catches the Ghost virus, the victim's family tries to hide it? That they keep the patient hidden in order for him/her not to be taken to Cypress?

Typically they can’t tell it’s the virus because the person will just appear dead for a few days. Pathologists know what’s up and they have a secret pact to send all the infected bodies to Cypress, while the family receives autopsy results like “heart attack” or somesuch and proceed to have a funeral with a dummy in the coffin.

I guess sometimes people might stumble upon the truth, but reuniting with a ghostly family member tends not to work out too well! Eventually Cypress will seem like a perfect summer camp to dump your creepy amnesiac kid into
