I asked once about the therapeutic services of Cypress. You said that the amnesiac members don’t need therapeutic treatment to get accustomed to their situation, but do they still have therapists? I mean, crime fighting work isn’t exactly free of the risk of emotional and physical traumas.

Some of the officers probably do go to therapists but I doubt it’s a thing I’ll feature much in the story. I mean yes, working as a Cypress officer can be seriously tough and awful, but from a storytelling standpoint I prefer my characters to seek help from their friends rather than a paid professional

Few questions about the Phantomland Mixtape: Can you tell me what Metric’s Collect Call is about? Because I don’t quite get the lyrics. And is that Ah Ah -song, like, Amber’s “theme”?

Dunno, I just thought it sounded cute so I picked it haha. I’m one of those music plebs who don’t listen to lyrics all that much. “Ah Ah” is definitely Amber’s theme though, and Anna Tsuchiya is one of the people she’s modeled after!

I noticed most of the nationalities of the Phantomland characters are European but Chie is obviously of Asian descent. :o Is that something that’s important to her character/the plot? Or is her case rare but not uncommon?

In canon they’re all citizens of the same country so their “ethnic backgrounds” won’t really become a topic. It’s a coincidence that Chie is the only Asian kid in a sea of white Europeans but I guess that sort of works to underline her role in the story as a newbie outsider trying her hardest to fit in

How big a city Santa Luison is? What is the estimated population?

Pretty big I imagine? Something like 3-5 million?

Have you ever imagined Jon aggressively playing a badass guitar and singing Motörhead’s the Ace of Spades?

You could try drawing a Bassrider spinoff comic. Just for laughs. : )

Haha! I’ve found myself developing a little bit of canon for it actually. Maybe there’ll be omake comics sometime…
