Lately I’ve been covering all my stuff with random cute stickers like a sixth grader because artist’s alleys have a wide selection of them and I can’t resist. Gahhh now I kinda want to make my own stickers too I was thinking action poses or somesuch...

Lately I’ve been covering all my stuff with random cute stickers like a sixth grader because artist’s alleys have a wide selection of them and I can’t resist. Gahhh now I kinda want to make my own stickers too

I was thinking action poses or somesuch so the characters would seem to “live” on the surface you put them. Maybe they’re fighting other stickers, idk… These silhouettes would be difficult to cut into shape though. I guess chibi art was invented for the purpose but I think it looks kinda wrong with my characters

Character heads could be nice and simple but I’d probably like them better stuffed inside a rectangle or some other shape.

Another idea were panels from the comic (with blank bubbles you can fill in yourself??), or tiny pieces of artwork

I don’t know, what do you think?

  2. sammiru answered: Action poses sound like fun! You could look into printing them on clear vinyl? The silhouette cut-out wouldn’t need to be exact.

  6. ivycube answered: Who needs sticker borders when you can slap just the faces or characters on some posters etc fun, panels/art are a nice idea too.
