Where does Cypress receive the money to pay the worker's salaries, living and all the needed equipment? Are they government-sponsored or something else?

The government funds Cypress via the regular police force which commissions them to handle their more demanding/dangerous tasks; most of the salaries come from there. There are some investors as well, for example medical companies that are interested in the virus.
