Guess that’s true, but I agree that it would be cool for once to see openly queer characters in a story that isn’t the romance genre. And I’ve kinda blown most of my chances to write that :(
Sometimes I look at my characters and see a lineup of mostly white, straight, young & attractive people and it just bothers me a bit. It’s not “social justice” per se I’m concerned about, just the fact that more diversity would’ve been interesting. But it’s too late to make too many changes now, so I just gotta work with what I’ve got
