Being a stone-cold content creator, I'm going to assume you don't content consume a great deal (ie watch a lot of TV, movies, buy into franchises, etc). Not that any of that is bad but it seems like those who are driven to create characters and stories (and see them through to the logical conclusion) don't always intake as much media as the average person does.
Interesting! But I think it’s quite the opposite for me actually :) I consume a lot of films, animation, comics and games especially. Sometimes I pick a title just in hopes of learning something from it. Influences help me figure out what kind of stuff I want to do myself.
Repost with your Sailor Senshi self.
Get the fuck off me, mascot cat Maru, I have sailing to do

:—D Hehe actually I was planning a little story arc for later where the team travels together and stops by a motel… anyway the pic would’ve looked strange with uniforms
Cruise-aneki, mascot for DesuCruise. She’s a big sister to both Desu-kun and Frosti-chan :3c
I like to draw Jon in civilian outfits but can’t imagine him wearing anything but the most basic clothes :( Guess he’s too old for anything funky
Sometimes it’s hard to be so invested into your own comic. I must think about the plot and the characters practically 24/7 and it kinda feels like you are in a fandom no one really knows about or cares to discuss. I mean just to give an example, as I listen to “Sunshine”OST there’s this track…
Hah yes this sounds very familiar. Most of the time when I daydream, I daydream about my comic :-D But it’s a good thing I’ve still got my passion for this project after 3+ years.
Also I sometimes get really giddy and excited when I think up a new plot development but there’s NO ONE I can share it with! Very frustrating. Yet even if I did tell someone, they’d just go “oh okay…” because none of this sounds very impressive in plain words and out of context.
The only solution is to keep drawing until I get to the good part :( Such is life
Oh and disclaimer: I own a Wii myself :D No interest in the whole console war thing
It’s only waggle controls that I find stupid
it’s like whenever I’m on dA and I find these amazing artists and I’m like ooh I wonder where they’re from and they’re like I’m from Finland.
fuq u Finland and all ur amazing artist I don’t like you
then there’s me
but it’s pretty odd, i…
Reasons:
1. Younger generations are pretty good at English which is why we gain fame on English language sites
2. Small country; most local online art communities are so tiny that most Finns will rather go global (DA, tumblr, etc.) instead
3. Finland is a pretty chill environment for young creative people, free education etc. The decision to go for an artistic career is less risky here
The ratio of talented people is the same as everywhere else though, make no mistake
