Hmmm I’ve come across a couple of BL/yaoi manga I liked but I’m not generally interested in this stuff. I prefer romance & sex to spice up a story rather than be the main ingredient

Thanks, I’ve been thinking about it! I saw the TV series before reading the books so I never developed an original vision of those characters sadly. I really love the casting and costumes in the show though <3
Nonetheless I still want to stay true to the books if I ever draw anything: I’d browse the Wikis for reference (like I do with Harry Potter), but there’s such a huge risk of spoilers that I can’t touch any of that before reading all five books. I’m at book three now :)
