I didn’t have enough time to animate my most ambitious ideas in animation class but at least now I can use ToonBoom (though I have to use a school computer for it) Might do a couple more gifs sometime later \(ﾟヮﾟ )/
Turnaround assignment for animation class, I picked Chie because I can draw her in my sleep. Might get rid of some details for animating tho
Next week I’m attending a five-day course on 2D animation! Finally I get to use something more sophisticated than Easytoon haha. I assume we can choose what to animate so I’ll probably do some fun Phantomland thing. If you guys have any suggestions I’d be happy to hear them??
Ok so…… I went to Helsinki Comics Festival and met maariamph there and said I sometimes draw fanart…..but forgot to bring said fanart OTL
So here’s to make up for that! eventually I want to draw Jon and all the others too but so far I’ve been drawing Chie, she is my fave.Sorry for the pictures mood, whenever I read Phantomland it feels like Chie is in a horror-movie situation…… I feel for ya Chie, Jon looks pretty scary
HAHA she looks like she’s about to cry, poor thing! That’s a good observation though. People (me included) tend to draw Chie all happy and genki while in canon her life is neverending misery ;;;

I constantly have this dilemma of wanting to go really far with the show-don’t-tell in my comic but at the same time I know the average reader loses track of things very easily, especially since it’s a webcomic
I’m not surprised if someone totally forgot that Jon tortured a guy (who’s also Rossini’s brother!) ~1½ chapters ago… so yeah, I drew a flashback of it just in case. I’m still not sure if everyone figures out Chie’s train of thought here but uhhh, I hope they do

Yes! I just need to set up a system for ordering them. Still recovering from the flu & juggling some other things atm but I’ll try to get on it soon.
