It was said in the beginning that ghosts would be sent back if they had any recollection of their past lives. But if they are still ghosts carrying the virus, then how would they be allowed to be sent back? .__.
Memory loss just happens to be a simple way to confirm the infection. If the person remembers something (= very rare), chances are their immune system somehow beat the virus, in which case they get sent back home

Does everyone who comes to Cypress become a trainee? I’m confused why Chie was instantly chosen to go on missions while someone like Jasper ended up doing odd jobs instead.
Newcomers start training as soon as there’s someone who’s qualified, available & willing to train them (senior officers). Often they have to wait for a while and do odd jobs in the meantime. Chie and Jon’s arrangement is weird and unexpected though so everyone’s a little curious about it :-D
Jasper used to be a trainee as well but something bad happened and he never got a chance to finish his training since, so he’s stuck being a janitor

I’ll just clarify it’s not an obscenely large amount of money; most of it will be spent for printing, though that alone is a great help for a low-profile author like myself :-D
I don’t imagine it’s a particularly Finland-exclusive thing for organizations to grant money for science/culture projects though?
Good job noticing! I drew him with the cane on a whim so I haven’t thought of a deeper meaning to it yet :-D But yes, your theory is entirely possible
Ah I’m glad you appreciate her beauty <3 The young look was more or less inspired by Tilda Swinton’s character in Constantine

Sorry, I don’t really have time for those! I’ll let you guys know if my situation changes though
Is this captainbasch…. :-D
Nah, he’s my most popular character so the possibility of someone having a crush on him doesn’t really surprise me… Though I doubt you’d have much success trying to marry this guy hahaha

I’ve put ridiculous amounts of effort into the comic so I can’t even tell you how nice it feels to be reassured that it’s worth all the trouble! Waah thank you so much, I’m glad to have a reader like you
Hmm yes, he has a bit of a tired expression that I draw intentionally. Does he seem lonely though? Jon does have friends - only a handful, but it’s quality over quantity for him :’)
annalandin said: You haven’t read the books, eh? Ah well. Let’s just say that I always assume a tragic end for ALL characters, until proven otherwise.
I finished the fifth book yesterday… Obviously anyone could die at any given moment but it doesn’t bother me; I prefer to be optimistic towards my favorite characters, though honestly I don’t even mind if they die because GRRM writes good deaths :’) None so far have been stupid or pointless in my opinion
evelmiina said: ahahaa I hope you’re not joking because I really like them together too :’)
Hahaa not joking at all! It’s a popular ship though, isn’t it? Who could resist the thought of an ugly chick getting some love u////u
Shit I can’t wait for S3, apparently GRRM himself will write the episode with the best Brienne/Jaime parts…..
annalandin said: Yessss! We share an OTP (an OTP bound, I fear, for a tragic end) and this is the BEST Brienne and Jaime I’ve ever seen drawn. So awesome.
Thanks! And noooo I want them to get married and have strong manly babies together :(
Officially the entire ghost population lives within the city area since it’s the only place in the world they’re legally allowed to! Leaving the city is permitted for a limited time (for work purposes); leaving the country is not. The government takes these measures to prevent the virus from spreading further
That said, a few adventurous types have attempted to sneak out into neighboring countries but it has never ended happily. If/when they get caught the punishment is harsh on either side of the border :’)
It’s a movie actually
It was shown in theaters
