Sometimes it’s hard to be so invested into your own comic. I must think about the plot and the characters practically 24/7 and it kinda feels like you are in a fandom no one really knows about or cares to discuss. I mean just to give an example, as I listen to “Sunshine”OST there’s this track…
Hah yes this sounds very familiar. Most of the time when I daydream, I daydream about my comic :-D But it’s a good thing I’ve still got my passion for this project after 3+ years.
Also I sometimes get really giddy and excited when I think up a new plot development but there’s NO ONE I can share it with! Very frustrating. Yet even if I did tell someone, they’d just go “oh okay…” because none of this sounds very impressive in plain words and out of context.
The only solution is to keep drawing until I get to the good part :( Such is life
Oh and disclaimer: I own a Wii myself :D No interest in the whole console war thing

Reasons:
1. Younger generations are pretty good at English which is why we gain fame on English language sites
2. Small country; most local online art communities are so tiny that most Finns will rather go global (DA, tumblr, etc.) instead
3. Finland is a pretty chill environment for young creative people, free education etc. The decision to go for an artistic career is less risky here
The ratio of talented people is the same as everywhere else though, make no mistake
No guarantee I’ll complete it but it could be a decent motivator to draw quick and spontaneous works once in a while. I’ll pick each number at random and draw for 15-30min at most. Trying to focus on colors and composition

Heehee hohoo :—D Stop the press, sex is practiced in this world even if I don’t draw it… But like I said those two are dysfunctional; they don’t play the usual rules that come with a relationship so it’s hard to tell what kinda kinky shit they may or may not be doing
(I promise it’ll make more sense once the comic reaches this part)
Some of the reactions to my eye tutorial have been rather interesting so here’s a disclaimer:
IT IS MY PET PEEVE. I’m not actually serious when I threaten to fight people who do things I don’t favor. I could’ve put it in a nicer way like, “I personally find it appealing when eyes are drawn with realistic attention to detail” but I have a crooked sense of humor so I made an angry post about eye pupils as if they were a BIG FUCKING DEAL (which they’re not) just to amuse myself
But there’s always someone out there who gets super offended :( Draw your eyes any way you want, who gives a shit? (except me)
